Who I Am
I'm thirtysomething, married, with two sons ( one biological, one as a stepfather, if you must be pedantic about it ) and a daughter. I'm a software engineer in the finance industry, which means that you're likely to hear me use any number of unintelligible jargon terms at any time and without warning; smile, nod, and go along with it.
While my job keeps me working many long hours, I do my best to stay a hands-on dad, which means that whenever my wife wants me to I change poo-filled diapers, and whenever Ben wants to we play the Wii.
I suppose the simplest way to sum up my personality is this: in college, I was a Computer Science Major...with a Theatre Arts minor. I've never quite resolved this dichotomy, but every day we all learn to cope a little better...and Ben, when he wins a game on his DS, does the best 8-year-old Jazz Hands ever.

Congratulations on your family. I married Landon 5 years ago and our oldest just started kindegarten last week. It’s amazing what kind of peace/chaos having a family brings. I’m glad to see you’re happy. All the best to you and yours, –Sabrina Mandt
